Darryl Carter |
The reason why I blog is apparent when you compare this photo to the photo in my previous post. At times, I am drawn to spaces that are bold, unique, and exciting. More often I'm drawn to spaces that are understated, quiet, and calm. Beautiful, but safe. It is hard to choose between them and with a blog, I don't have to.
Me too. I love bold stuff but when it comes to myself, I prefer the understated. :)
ReplyDeleteSo true - in the blog world you can have it both ways. Looking at that Darryl Carter space I could see changing out the pillows(maybe some leopard) and the mirror and you'd have an entirely different room. Could be fun to do that for a season.
ReplyDeleteAnything Darryl Carter does is perfection to me. Nice we don't have to choose huh?

I love Darryl Carter's work, but then I love so many designers' work. How can I reconcile Carter's work with Saladino's or Vervoordt's? They seem so different yet love them all I do. Conflict results, but you're right, blogging helps. Especailly yours - you cast a wide net.

Sorry - I spelled especially wrong.
ReplyDeleteThat living room is divine!! Deborah, you should start a designing business. Then you can decorate in all the styles you love :)
