Signs of Spring

I thought you might enjoy these photos I took of tulips in the Boston Public Garden yesterday.  Spring is well under way and with it comes rain for the next few days (but I'm not complaining!).  And I have to add that the quality of photos from the iphone 4S camera continues to delight me....
.

Petals from nearby cherry trees make lovely confetti.

I love the intense blaze of red and yellow.

Pink petals with white edges. I'd say these are at their peak.

Happy Monday!

  2. Hi Deborah - Beautiful photos!! That first shot is so pretty with the petals on the ground. I didn't plant tulips last fall....am sorry now :-( We are getting rain (finally) here in DC. Need the rain desperately, but all my white clematis blooms just opened. Takes me back to last year: my peonies lasted about 3 days due to rain. Thank you for sharing these photos. With cheers from DC, Loi

  3. I love tulips and ours are taking a beating already from the rain. We were really dry here so the next few days of rain is welcomed. I can't believe you took those wonderful pictures with a cell phone...fabulous.

  6. Its the details of our lives I think that in some respects make the impact. Its only once in a while the big picture matters. I loves these photos of the details.
