Six Days Until Christmas


Do not attempt to adjust your monitor.  My photo was blurry so I added the painting effect using Paint Shop Pro . 


Still shopping, wrapping, working, writing Christmas cards (take a breath), and not yet baking with only six days until Christmas.  Somewhere along the way, I misplaced my plan to be "more prepared than ever this year" for the holidays and I can't seem to find it.

If you're in the throes of holiday preparations, I hope you're having a productive weekend.  And to those who are done with everything they needed to do, savor the fruits of your labor.

    I'm still chasing my tail just as you are but I'm not going to worry about it. I made sure the most important part for my husband was done....Christmas cookies!

    I like the oil painting effect! Pretty colors. I just decided to do less (Christmas cards NEXT year) and enjoy more.

    I'm with you on this subject! I just completed an all weekend of wrapping and loading boxes to send to UPS...as for being more prepared before, I thought I was doing it, but the holiday sure crept up on me! I love your picture.... soft dissolve...LOL.. heard that in a movie once! I like the effect a lot though! I think things can look like that with a few glasses of champagne!

    ..but just think - after tomorrow the daylight hours will be getting incrementally longer and somehow that is a really good thing right before Christmas! We all need it to feel energized by that lengthening sun.

    Oh I am so very very far behind - I certainly shouldn't be doing this but I love seeing everyone at the holidays - and as we all know, it's so very addictive. So I'll be very busy tomorrow!!
