MOTH's 'dowry' was thankfully small - his diving gear, chain saw, books & a great old Campaign chest. 20 years on he's too fat for the wetsuit, the chain saw has long been replaced, most of the books have gone to the Vinnies but the Campaign chest still has pride of place.
